Staff Profile: Kinga Torok
Kinga Torok started her role working for Brunel Fire & Security in July 2019 as a Service and Install Administrator then became Senior Administrator early last year.
Kinga works as part of the Service and Installation Department. She supervises and monitors the work of the administration team. Kinga supports the Service Manager, Operations Manager and Operations Director with high-level administration, updates the Operations Forecast as required and reports the financial position at the Operations Meetings. She is also responsible for the day-to-day running of the office and takes responsibility for key client account management.
Her day-to-day duties include dealing with customer queries, organising call-outs, invoicing, ordering material, scheduling engineers, raising maintenance contracts as well as writing new company procedures. Kinga plays a huge role in the smooth running of the business and is an invaluable member of the team.
Before working at Brunel, Kinga was a workshop manager at The Masters Golf Company LTD who are one of the largest golf accessory suppliers in Europe, based in Portishead. Kinga was responsible for the smooth running of the production department. Some of her main duties included managing the workshop staff team, supervising the production team, ensuring specific targets were met to increase productivity, completing orders on target, liaising with suppliers, managing employee’s timesheets and creating and managing the production plan.
Kinga says what she most enjoys about working at Brunel is that “Everyone shares the same vision and is dedicated to the same goal – customer satisfaction. This truly creates a family environment where everybody is there for each other. I love working in a fast-paced environment and the fact that no two days are the same. You never get bored at Brunel!”
When Kinga isn’t hard at work, she loves spending time with her friends and family. She loves to travel and explore new places with her fiancé, Frankie. Her mantra is ‘Better to see something once than to hear about it a thousand times.’ She is also passionate about art and enjoys painting in her free time. She says “Painting provides a challenge and with each hour I paint, I am building my skills”.
