Sam Bolger works as the Operations Manager at Brunel Fire & Security. “I started life at Brunel almost 5 years ago now where I started as a site supervisor, supervising a range of large projects around the country. After 2 years I was then promoted to the installation manager dealing with all of the small to large installations.” Fast forward another 1 and a half years and Sam was promoted to his current role of Operations Manager. Previous to his role at Brunel, Sam worked as a site supervisor at a competitor fire and security company.
Sam’s key responsibilities are to oversee the installation and service department to make sure they are running efficiently and on budget. He works closely with the senior administrator and operations director, running the operations forecasts and conducting weekly update meetings.
We asked Sam what he most enjoys about working at Brunel – “I really enjoy the ‘family run’ feel to the business, all of the staff are brilliant and we are a close knit family.”
Outside of work, Sam enjoys socialising and regularly plays golf at Shirehampton Golf club where he is a member.
